Aircraft floodlights

Aircraft floodlights are designed for lighting of the space in front of the plane, helicopter during taking-off, landing, taxing operation, for refueling and the lighting of wing edge, for aerodrome lighting complexes.

Instructions on operation:

• On-position of floodlights is arbitrary.
• Floodlights are efficient while being power supplied from constant-current source with the voltage (27+2,4-3,0)V and from ac source with frequency 400 Hertz with (27+ -10%) V.
• Operating mode:
  • for the filament of the landing light – no more than 5 minutes of operation with the break of no less than 5 minutes;
  • for the filament of the taxiing light – no more than 2 hours of operation with the break of no less than 15 minutes;
  • simultaneous switching on of the filament of the landing and taxiing lights is inadmissible.
• Minimum term of life of floodlights with the observance of the demands of operating conditions totals 10 years.
• During the operation time of aircraft floodlights the parameter points, which determine the mode of operation shouldn't exceed overload capacities.

Floodlights with halogen source of light

The series of floodlights with quartz halogen burner (FQHB) is produced on the basis of aircraft floodlights and is designed for the usage as lightning fixture with the power supply from the embedded network of car or some other external source of current with the voltage of 12V, 24V. They can be used while repairing cars, in garages, in field conditions for the lightning of stalls; also they can be used by fishers, hunters, tourists, EMERCOM workers, police, and the lovers of underwater sports as a search lightning engine. While using different colour filters on floodlights it can be used for highlighting of advertisement hoarding, swimming pools, monuments and other objects of social and cultural function.
